When you write down your schedule to work out, you are more prone to keep to this workout schedule than if you simply stated, “Tomorrow, I am beginning a fitness regimen.”

For instance, if you schedule a meeting for Tuesday at 10:00AM, you have that block of time scheduled for this meeting and attending it’s a done deal as far as you are concerned. You may not want to go to the assembly, you may not even enjoy it after you get there, but you do it, as it’s scheduled.
Using a fitness program keeps you on track and it makes you liable to you. Let us say you program Monday, Wednesday, and Friday as your exercise day and you schedule the time from 7AM – 8AM. Now, if you look at your fitness schedule as a significant appointment, you are better able to continue to your workout regimen. The time isn’t important (though we do pay the ideal time of day to train in our video show), just as long as you keep the appointment.
If you are a list manufacturer, you’re more apt to succeed in your daily life than those who stroll through life without a focus. The same is true for list the various aspects of your exercise program. You may list you would like to do 20 minutes of cardiovascular and 20 minutes of weight training, or you break it into 10-minute segments. The reality is, it does not matter, the most significant aspect is to write down it, to actually have a fitness program and to stay with it.
Committing something to newspaper and seeing that the written word is more powerful than just having a thought or talking about it. We’ve all had times in our lives once we’ve been told something, but we didn’t make a note of it by writing it down and we’ve forgotten it. Whereas, we all know that creating a note of something, pushes us to remember.
Having a fitness schedule is not any different, and you receive the extra benefit of being able to track back and see what progress you’re making which is all important on your physical fitness progression. Today, if you truly need to stick to a fitness regime then now is the time to write it down and create a fitness program that’s sensible. You’ll be surprised how much additional in your health and fitness development goals you get when you have a schedule.
